Gary effectively managed most aspects of legal support for a company operating in more than 135 countries and all fifty states, including managing and provided legal assessment and drafting for all contracting and transactional work. He also served as general counsel and an executive at a medical software company.


Prior to and in addition to his past corporate and business legal experience, he also practiced as a private criminal defense attorney for a well-known Minneapolis firm, and served as a public defender in Minnesota’s Tenth Judicial District.

Jamison Tessneer

Jamison joined Tessneer Law Office in 2013. He practices primarily in the areas of family law, child protection, estate planning, and criminal defense. Jamison has a keen appreciation of the challenges his clients face in difficult life situations. He works closely with his clients to address those challenges pragmatically and resolve their legal matters.


Jamison graduated from William Mitchell College of Law magna cum laude. He received recognition for his academic achievements as well as his commitment to public service. Jamison was a Thomas H. Berrman Scholar, he received the 2013 Kirwin Professional Prize, and he received the CALI Award for Juvenile Justice. He had an article published in the William Mitchell Journal of Law and Practice discussing toxic torts related to the proposed sulfide mines in northern Minnesota.


Prior to law school, Jamison worked for the Minnesota Public Interest Research Group to advance public policy focused on social and environmental issues.


Jamison enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons along the north shore of Lake Superior.

Anne Carlson

Anne grew up in Lindstrom, Minnesota.  She graduated from Chisago Lakes High School in 2001.  She attended Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Mass Communications.  Anne has worked as a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional for the past 12 years.   Anne attended Mitchell Hamline School of Law and graduated with her Juris Doctor in May 2016.  She was admitted to the Minnesota Bar in October 2016.  


In her free time, Anne enjoys spending time with her dogs (Fritz and Franny), teaching yoga and playing chess.
